I don’t know why (well I do but I can’t say why) this week felt like a swift, hard kick to the kidneys.  I’m so glad it’s over!  Of course we’re about to get snow and rain dumped on us (thanks, Alaska) so my plans to hie the family northeast for a sightseeing trip are shot to hell.  There’s always next weekend, I guess.

The devs had a nice barbeque at the office today.  Our buddy Broos deftly flipped burgers for two-plus hours.  At the end we visited in my office to catch up and he looked pretty done in.  Can’t blame him, as his week was even more of a swift, hard kick than mine.  He sent the troops home early which gave me ample time to get (mostly) caught up on the project at hand.  I also managed to clean my desk so it now looks like a professional workspace instead of my old one in Honolulu =P

The Kid and I are back to playing WoW together, having started Blood Elves on Gryph’s & Bear’s (The Scryers) server.  We shall see how long it holds our interest this time around.  We’re both hunters, which is my favorite class because it rocks to have a ravager as a pet.  My poor Tauren shaman on Illidan needs to come out of mothballs with only 341 boxes left until level 63 (hah!) but I respec’d to Elemental last year (the day before I quit) and can’t find the motivation to test out the new build.  On a PvP server.  On the first weekend of Spring Break.  I’ve decided instead to start my own guild there with my PvP BE hunter, so if you have an alt to spare, come sign my charter so I can secure the name!  You won’t need to play there, just help me get it signed up.  I’m tired of playing hardcore.  I want to keep things relaxed and casual.

Now that I’m probably housebound for the stormy weekend, I’ll have to have fun vicariously through others.  So…what do you have planned?  =)
