I made her promise to check in with me each night.

Last night she was in Santa Nella, tonight she’s in Grants Pass (what kinda city drops the apostrophe from its name when it’s that important a name?!). That’s about 450 miles per day. Apparently Mittens and Melody are still talking to her, which is a relief. Lord only knows what the car would smell like after seven hours cooped up with ornery, defiance-peeing kitties. Ugh.

She should be in Seattle tomorrow evening, just in time for dinner. I will be relieved.

In other news, we launched our expansion today, without too much drama and with an exhausted crew. But they did good. We tried to send some of ‘em home early but one person in particular refused to leave. I ordered a tad bit too much food for the launch lunch. No one can ever accuse me of being stingy =P
