How Passive Are You?
Filed by NinjaDoll on August 29th, 2006

The good folk over at anxietycentre.com have a Passive Health test that you really ought to take.  It’s simple, painless, and says some interesting things about the state of your health that wouldn’t even occur to you when you’re too busy being anxious.

Take the test here.

For the record, my score was 43.  This is what the site had to say about my results:

41 – 60: Moderate to high passivity – unhealthy behavior
This level of living passively has a high likelihood of producing a behavioral disorder condition. It may also be negatively affecting your health and relationships. We recommend that you seek self-help materials and the help of an anxiety coach or mental health professional to help you learn to live more assertively.

If you don’t already have a behavioral disorder condition, such as anxiety, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety, depression, stress disorder, or a sleep disorder, there’s a high likelihood that if you continue living passively, one will develop.

Taking proactive action now is highly recommended.”

Now seriously, do any of you think of me as passive?  I don’t think of me as passive, good grief!  But…apparently…there are enough traces of the stuff that I’m liable to crunch Xanax for the rest of my life.

Oh, well!  At least it doesn’t interfere with my shopping!
