There’s some damned fine bands out there who never get airplay. We promoted such a group last night at Hawaii Theatre.

If you’ve never heard the name Sigur Ros, there’s still a chance you’ve heard their music in films like Vanilla Sky or The Life Aquatic. The show last night was less a concert than a sweeping and imaginative sensatory orgy for those who think Kubrick is still cool and Jean-Michel Jarre rocks.
