I don’t feel so bad. Sushi hasn’t posted on her blog since the 2nd. And Broos, well…methinks March was a long, long time ago =)
Sim2 isn’t really my style of game (I like FPS games, shockingly enough), but I’ve been playing it after my nightly SWG foray. I rolled up a teenager named Anya with a desire to play an X-box she can’t afford and a temper to match my own.
Last night I forgot to turn the darned game off before bed. The thing I remember was seeing Anya leave for work, seemingly happy in love, career, and bladder issues.
This morning I turned on the monitor to find her entire kitchen burned to ash with an odd little white urn sitting near the scorched walls. Alas, methinks Anya died a horrible death while I slept. Sigh. And you people think I am capable of parenting =(
Life is hectic. The boss has saddled us with several shows while he readies himself for a 2-week trip to Bangkok. Since the past month has been crazed, I have been shopping — and it seems I am destined to shop some more because the Victoria’s Secret Christmas Book just arrived in my mailbox yesterday, huzzah!
Now where the heck are the chocolate suede thigh-high stiletto boots I ordered from them, hrm???
My apartment is being refabricated, I’m slowly putting the finishing touches on everything. Most of my uber furniture is gone (not having been uber since my child learned to scribble, scratch and dent). I have decided on Asian-Techno-Modular. When I’m done with the retrofit I’ll show you what my hovel looks like. It’s not exactly my kind of decor but it will do for now. I’m still hoping to find another career and living space, so I dont want anything bulky or unmoveable…therefore chrome shelving with lots of plants and Asian accents seems conveniently kick-arse. And I finally lost my disdain for red sofas. I now own a plush red loveseat with matching chair and ottoman, all sporting spiffy chrome legs to match the spiffy (and inexpensive!) chrome shelving. Bwahaha!
If this keeps up I will never be able to afford my 42″ wall-hanging HDTV. Blah!
I’ve got a new computer system, sorta…
KT8 NEO 64-bit motherboard with onboard everything-but-the-kitchen-sink, Athlon 64-bit 3200+ 1600MHz chip, ATI X800 graphic card. I decided to forego the cost of another gig of RAM but it’s definitely on my shopping list for after Christmas, along with the flat-panel screen I’m still hoping to afford. Now if only I could figure out why it takes forever for the graphic cache to dump so I can speed up my log-out from Star Wars Galaxies =P
That’s it for today. It’s late (well, early…3am on Sunday) and I’m tired. Be safe, all of you!
