JOURNEY will always be one of my top five favorite bands. Their concert this past Saturday was spectacular. It was great to see Neal, Steve, and Jonathan again. Steve is so much more comfortable now than two years ago in his role as frontman for the group and it was a pleasure to watch him work the stage (and work the crowd into a frenzy). But the biggest change was definitely Deen, who has slimmed down and looks and sounds great!

I’m not the type to pick up a lot of things from email circles, but these photos caught my attention and did the heartstring tugging thing. I’ve never been one to dabble in politics (that crap belongs to the other parent of my daughter) but I see these and I ask myself, “What the heck are we humans doing?”
