Eivar Corbane is based on a character I’ve been writing about for many, many years. In 1991 I took her online as a character in a wildly imaginative text-based MMORPG called Gemstone III. From then on, there has been an Eivar in just about every online game in existence and all of them (except where noted) are played by me.

I’m often referred to as Lady E, or just plain E, depending on which guildmates are involved. It has always been my belief that calling me “E” consumed less calories than calling me Elver or Eiavar or Eviar. The correct pronunciation, however, is “A Var.” The letter “A.” Yep…Lady E is actually Lady A, but shhhhhh — my guildies are confused enough about me as it is!

Should you find yourself stumbling across an Eivar in a game, feel free to say hello! For now, you’re welcome to browse through the land of E by clicking on any game listed on the menu to learn a little about my gamer self and the characters/games I play.

Adieu,
Lady E
